Welcome! I’m Janie, the hands behind Stitching Dainty. My journey with fiber began during my pregnancy. What started as a simple hobby quickly blossomed into a full-time passion, where I now specialize in creating delicate and intricate pieces using smaller yarns.

I pour my love for all things dainty into making plushies, plants, florals, keychains, and accessories. Besides crochet, I enjoy other fiber arts like hand embroidery and punch needle. I also enjoy watercolors and digital art.

My work is a blend of these artistic passion, and each piece reflects my dedication to the craft. Currently, you can find my creations at The Bristol Bazaar in Bristol CT, and at various markets and events throughout Connecticut.

I also love spreading crochet and fiber arts in general with others, so I’ve started offering beginner classes.

Our small business has been growing and I’m excited to share that we’ve started adding some more hands into our workshop. This allows me too keep up with the demand and bring more creations to you :)
